Hatton Garden jewellery thief dies in jail

The judge handling the case said number of the defendants were not only “of a certain age, but have in some cases serious health problem”
Terry Perkins, one of the gang members involved with the Hatton Garden jewellery raid, has died in prison aged 69.
He was one of the four ringleaders behind the notorious robbery and his death comes just one week after the gang was ordered to pay a total fine of £27.5m or spend seven more years in jail……

Police have released images of a murder suspect who was caught on CCTV wearing a full-body burka and wheeling a shopping trolley. The grainy pictures show a person pulling a trolley into Vama Collections on Belgrave Road in Leicester just minutes after Mr Jogiya had locked up for the night and left.

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested seven Chinese nationals believed to be members of the so-called “Pink Panda” gang in the theft of jewels at an exposition in Koto Ward this week, reports TBS News (Jan. 26).

Over the course of the International Jewelry Tokyo show at Tokyo Big Sight, which began on Wednesday, Tokyo police arrested the seven male and female suspects over the alleged theft of pearls and necklaces valued at around 15 million yen from dealers.

JSA Offering $10K Reward in Calif. Murder

Highland, Calif.–The Jewelers’ Security Alliance is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of two men wanted in connection with a fatal attempted robbery last week.
