Shocking footage ’shows dramatic Southport jewellery heist in progress‘

This shocking footage appears to show four robbers, wearing motorbike helmets, carrying out a jewellery heist. A witness to the incident, in Lord Street, Southport, captured the moment four men, their faces concealed, apparently made their escape after smashing their way into a jewellers shop. The suspects broke into the store and stole valuable jewellery before setting their vehicle on fire and leaving the scene on motorbikes. Police and fire crews were called to the scene at around 4.40pm after a Land Rover Defender rammed the premises and was set alight.

A jewellery store in Sliema was robbed after thieves broke in through a wall of a neighbouring home. Police believe the thieves entered the abandoned home and proceeded to break through the kitchen wall to gain access to the neighbouring stores.

Copenhagen Police are looking for three men after an armed robbery in the exclusive Illum department store in Copenhagen on Monday afternoon.
A weapon, thought to be a gas pistol, was fired during the incident, according to police deputy inspector Brian Belling.

Victoria Police are harnessing the power of social media to reunite hundreds of stolen pieces of jewellery with their rightful owners. The pieces were seized in a raid on a Melbourne gold buying store in October, which had allegedly been receiving stolen jewellery taken during robberies on homes and businesses. Three Colombian men were charged, and their matters are still going through the courts.
