Four men arrested for jewellery shop robbery in Galway

Gardaí have arrested four men in connection with the armed robbery of a jewellery shop in Galway.

A “substantial” amount of jewellery, including watches, was recovered as part of the investigation into the raid at Hartmann’s jewellers on William Street.

The incident occurred at about 10.45 am when four masked men entered the shop, one of whom was described as carrying a firearm. ….

Four men charged over €1m jewellery heist

The four, who are all Lithuanian citizens, appeared before Galway District Court today. All four men were remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court on Friday.

Austrian police arrest four ‚Pink Panther‘ jewel thieves

Austrian police said they had arrested two Israelis, as well as a Serbian and a Belgian suspected of belonging to the notorious international “Pink Panther” group of jewel thieves.

The four men, aged between 35 and 40, were arrested last Thursday in a Vienna hotel and jewellery and watches worth about US$565,000 (RM2 million), police said.
