Police hunt thieves who robbed Sydney Montblanc store

TWO men managed to get away with $80,000 worth of luxury watches and an undisclosed sum of cash in a “well-planned and well-executed” heist in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

Police are hunting the two men who robbed Montblanc luxury accessories store on King St in record time, evading an unmarked police car before crashing into another car and then parking the getaway vehicle — a high powered sports car — in an underground carpark and calmly walking away undetected……

Police hunt car following armed robbery on Manchester jewellers

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a car they believe was used in an armed robbery on a jewellery store in Rusholme.
Shortly before 1:50pm on Sunday 12 June 2016 two men got out of a black BMW 5 series and smashed the windows of Royal Jewellers on Wilmslow Road, using a sledgehammer and a street grid…..

Five jailed over £7m Monopoly money scam on jewellery stores

A gang of conmen who used Monopoly money to trick jewellery store owners as part of a £7m scam have been sent to jail for a combined total of 22 years.
The sentencing follows an investigation into organised frauds, including an elaborate fraud in Bristol where a jeweller lost £420,000 worth of diamonds, diamond rings and watches, another in London where a jeweller was defrauded £6.1m, a £250,000 theft in Wiltshire and a £200,000 theft in Leeds……
