A heroic security guard fought off EIGHT baseball-bad weilding thugs who hoped to rob a jewllers. But the moped gang had to leave empty handed after the guard, known only as ‘Johnny’, battled them away from the William & Son store in Mayfair.

Armed robbery at Doncaster town centre jewellers

A jewellers in Doncaster town centre has been targeted by robbers who are believed to have threatened staff with weapons.

The incident took place at around 11:25am at HL Browns jewellery store in St Sepulchre Gate on January 28, following reports that three masked men had entered the premises.

It is alleged that the men threatened staff with weapons including a hammer and an axe, before fleeing with a quantity of watches…..

The audacious theft of a HK$36 million diamond necklace from a high-end Tsim Sha Shui shopping centre last week is just one of a series of similar crimes carried out across the region in which children serve as shoplifters, it has emerged.
Near-identical heists have taken place in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Macau in recent months and, according to a security expert, all were attributable to a mainland Chinese gang that pulled off a string of heists across Europe in the last few years…..

CCTV images capture raid on jewellers by armed gang

CCTV images have caught the moment a gang of armed raiders smashed their way into a Rochdale jewellery store and stole several items.

The robbery took place at Naz Jewellers on Milkstone Road in Rochdale at around 12:30pm on Thursday January 22.

According to Greater Manchester Police, the gang pulled up outside the shop in a silver BMW X5. They then smashed their way into the store and threatened staff, before taking several items…..
