Monroeville jewel heist ringleader from Ohio gets federal prison

The Ohio mastermind behind a $1.1 million jewelry theft at a Monroeville hotel in April 2016 was sentenced Monday to 30 months in federal prison.A judge in Cincinnati imposed that term on Amit Patel, 49, of Mason, Ohio, who had pleaded guilty to robbing two New York traveling jewelry salesmen at a jewelry show at the Monroeville convention center.Patel will also have to pay $1.1 million in restitution, which represents the value of the diamonds, gold and gems he stole with the help of four compatriots….

G4S driver jailed after stealing cash from vehicle he was driving

A G4S driver who stole £1million from the cash-in-transit vehicle he was driving has been jailed. Joel March, 36 (14.09.1982) of Rectory Grove, SW4 was sentenced to four years and four months’ imprisonment at Inner London Crown Court today, Friday 26 July.
