JEWELER KIDNAPPED AT HOME, TAKEN BACK TO STORE
Greece, NY – August 6, 2014
At 5:00 p.m. two armed suspects forced their way into an apartment, having followed a male jeweler home from the store where he worked. The jeweler was hit on the head, bound with duct tape and put into one of the apartment’s bedrooms. The suspects then waited for the jeweler’s wife (who works in the same store as the husband) and adult son to arrive home. They bound both of them with tape. A third suspect entered the home on Thursday morning, and the suspects took the family’s car at 8:30 a.m. and went to the store where both the husband and wife worked.  At this point the suspects had the store keys and the alarm codes. The suspects waited for the mall to open and then burglarized the store. Police are still searching for the family’s gray, four-door 2013 Honda Accord.
